Locking Parklands, North Somerset
St. Modwen Homes
Scheme
We worked with the client to understand the social impact that Locking Parklands will deliver, leaving a legacy for local people, places and the planet.
Strategy
Using the commitments made within the planning process and through conversations with the design team, St. Modwen Homes and Homes England, we estimated the social impact delivered on site.
To understand the social impact we looked at the facilities, spaces and activities that the site offers. These have been aligned with government-approved financial values to equate this to improvements in health and wellbeing.
These figures only tell some of the story and we have supported this with a written understanding of how communities will benefit from the design and delivery of Locking Parklands.
We combined this with other benefits based on our knowledge of local political and community aspiration and created a compelling social value brochure.
Outcome
