With Local Government Reorganisation on the horizon for Hertfordshire, our event provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and to learn from those who operate beyond the county as well as from colleagues.

Women in Planning West Midlands

We had the pleasure of delivering a CPD session to members of Women in Planning West Midlands, bringing together a brilliant group of planning professionals for an interactive conversation about one of the biggest challenges facing new development: how we motivate and mobilise support. Drawing on our Impact of a Home research, we explored how new homes can be better quantified in terms of the positive outcomes they deliver for people and places.

December’s HIDB meeting underpinned the urgency of Hertfordshire’s housing crisis, highlighting both the scale of local need and the complex, collaborative effort required to deliver new homes.
