Glenvale Park, Northamptonshire
Midtown Capital

Scheme
Meeting Place has supported Midtown Capital at Glenvale Park since 2020, delivering a comprehensive PR and engagement programme to position the development as the leading destination for homebuyers in Northamptonshire.
Our root and branch PR support has brought together content development, media relations, social media management, community engagement, website management and event support to build awareness and trust in the project.
A key milestone in this early work included arranging and hosting a community fun day in 2022, designed to help integrate Glenvale Park into the wider Wellingborough community. The event showcased the positive social value embedded within the development and celebrated the local groups, organisations and residents who contribute to the area’s identity. Today, the development is a thriving community home to hundreds of residents and a wealth of green open space and amenities.
Strategy
As Phase 1 of Glenvale Park continued to bring forward new homes, facilities and essential infrastructure, Meeting Place also led the community and political engagement strategy for the preparation of the Phase 2 planning application.
This wide-reaching programme included in-person consultation events, a targeted social media campaign, councillor briefings and an interactive website to ensure the process was accessible, transparent and responsive to local views.
The approach resulted in a positive consultation outcome and supported the submission of the Phase 2 application in 2024, which was subsequently approved by North Northamptonshire Council’s Planning Committee.
Our ongoing work continues to champion the strong sense of community which is emerging at Glenvale Park. Working closely with organisations such as the Glenvale Park Residents’ Association, North Wellingborough Anglican Church and the Glenvale Park Football Club, we produce engaging blogs, newsletters, social media content and media stories that celebrate the people and partnerships shaping the development. We have also facilitated high-profile visits, including one from Stuart Andrew MP, helping further raise Glenvale Park’s profile locally and regionally.
Outcome
The work delivered by Meeting Place has played a central role in showcasing Glenvale Park as a thriving, connected and community-focused development. Our strategic comms and stakeholder engagement has helped in support of Phase 1 delivery and the successful progression of Phase 2.
Submissions created by Meeting Place contributed to the development being named Residential Development of the Year at the East Midlands Business Brick Awards, recognising the development's commitment to placemaking, social value and quality.
