From Meeting Place to Sleeping Place

Culture

On Thursday 7 March, members of our team took to the streets of Bristol, Manchester and Cambridge as part of LandAid’s annual SleepOut. This event raises money to help support young people who are homeless.

In 2022/2023, nearly 136,000 young people approached their council as they were homeless or at risk of homelessness.  The cost of living crisis has had an immense effect on all of us. This has been felt even more acutely by young people facing homelessness. Reports from the charities that LandAid support have mentioned that they’re facing not only a homelessness crisis, but a mental health one too.

Young people facing homelessness need our support more than ever. LandAid brings the property industry together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young people who are or have been homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness in the future.

If you’d like to donate, Meeting Place would love for you to do so via our team fundraising page.

We’re the Meeting Place of deep knowledge and creative thinking. And we want to hear from you.
