Ella Hazelton

Senior Account Executive

Working within the Western team, Ella supports the delivery of a variety of development and engagement projects across the region.

In supporting clients through the planning process, Ella’s responsibilities include developing engaging communications and engagement strategies, undertaking political research, providing valuable insights, carrying out stakeholder and community engagement activities and creating compelling content.

Having previously worked for another PR agency in the development sector, Ella applies her knowledge and interest in planning communications, public relations, the planning sector and political and community engagement to help create positive change within the built environment. Growing up in Exeter, she provides clients with local insight into development across Exeter, Devon and the South West.

Ella’s natural interest in politics, local government and community relations also stems from her degree in Politics and International Relations undertaken at Aston University, and previous experience working at a Midlands local authority in Democratic Services.

Having trained as a dancer growing up, Ella’s main passion outside of work has now turned to CrossFit, in which she takes part both socially and competitively. Away from the barbell and to achieve some balance, she also enjoys paddleboarding, socialising with friends over a pint and cafe-hopping to find the best flat white in Bristol.
