Proactively drafting blogs and social media content for Meeting Place’s channelsSupporting BD team in delivery of marketing output
Who we’re looking for
Capable and confident – with an in depth understanding of the media tools within their ‘PR toolkit’.
Organised – comfortable with following direction and operating with autonomy.
Experience – of working in a PR agency, press office or fast-paced media environment is preferred, together with experience creating press content and the ability to demonstrate coverage examples.
Strong writing skills – excellent written and spoken English. A relevant undergraduate degree such as PR, journalism or English Literature is desirable but not essential.
Approachable, friendly and empathetic – able to relate to colleagues within the agency, as well as with clients and the media. Efficient – able to meet tight media deadlines as well as the demands and pressures of your team and clients, without compromising on quality.
Commercially aware – with an understanding of why over-servicing can lead to accounts becoming unprofitable.
Teamwork – managing your own workload effectively, having a proactive attitude with other team members and offering to help carry out extra tasks when workloads increase. ‘Upward managing’ Account Managers and other members of the team when required.
